Our Story

I didn't set out to build a brand.
I set out to solve a problem that was driving me insane.

Every man reading this has done it. Adjusted his underwear in the middle of a meeting. Pulled and peeled in a parking lot. Shifted things around on a long drive hoping nobody noticed. You've been doing it your whole life and somewhere along the way you decided it was just part of being a man.

It isn't. It's a design failure. And nobody was fixing it.

Where it started

I served five years in the United States Marine Corps infantry. On long hikes in full combat kit — miles of it — underwear was a real problem. The heat. The sweat. The chafing that turned a 15-mile patrol into something you had to mentally grind through. I stuffed socks and spare T-shirts into my uniform just to manage the friction. It worked, barely. I filed it away and kept moving.

Years later I was living in a small apartment in Hollywood — post-Marines, figuring out what came next — and that same problem came back. Disney days with my kids. Long drives. Workouts. The adjustment never went away. I'd tried every premium brand. Saxx. Tommy John. All of them. Softer fabric, better marketing, same fundamental problem.

"I grabbed a pair of scissors, a needle, and a few old pairs of underwear. I had no idea what I was doing. I just knew what I needed."

That first prototype was rough. But the concept worked. A fabric wall on the inside — separating anatomy from thigh, eliminating the source of every problem men had quietly accepted as normal. I kept building. Late nights. Dozens of prototypes. I taught myself to sew. Found a patent attorney. Learned what a technical packet was. Built one from scratch.

I wasn't trying to start a company. I was trying to make something for myself — because nothing that existed was good enough.

What Undyz actually is

Undyz is not a fashion brand. It's not a lifestyle brand. It's an engineering solution to a structural problem that affects every man alive.

The InnerWall System™ is a patented internal architecture that physically separates anatomy from the inner thigh. Skin-on-skin contact is structurally impossible. The adjustment cannot happen. It's not a pouch. It's not a bigger waistband. It's a fundamentally different internal design — built from 95% Modal fabric with no toxic chemicals, no plastics, nothing near your body that shouldn't be there.

Three utility patents. U.S. and worldwide. Over ten years from concept to product. Sized by actual body measurements — waist circumference and high thigh — not jean sizes that are 2–4 inches off from reality.

When men put them on, most say the same thing within the first hour: "Why didn't anyone make this sooner?"

Why it matters beyond the product

There's a verse that became the heartbeat of this brand early on. Job 38:3 — "Gird up your loins like a man." An ancient call to readiness. To stop being distracted by small things. To show up fully for the things that actually matter.

That's what Undyz is, at its core. Remove the friction. Eliminate the distraction. Be present for your family, your work, your faith, your calling — without underwear being a single thought in your day.

It sounds like a small thing. It isn't. Small frictions accumulate. Small distractions compound. Men who've worn Undyz for a week describe going back to their old pairs like going backwards. They don't.
